Beauty Manifesto, The

Synopsis:
the world of the Beauty Manifesto is a world of extreme physical conformity, where teenagers celebrate their sixteenth birthdays with cosmetic surgery. Jasmine and her sister Chloe are ambassadors for the manifesto and their Father is the chief cosmetic surgeon. It is Silas' birthday and the time has come for his transformation. the problem is, Silas can think for himself and believes the manifesto is designed to make teenagers so unhappy about their bodies that they accept they need change. the Beauty Manifesto explores living in a world of air brushed images and perfect bodies, and questions contemporary ideas of beauty.

Bedlam
Set in the notorious 18th Century lunatic asylum that gives the play its name, Bedlam is the story of how a cruel and unusual institution starts to crumble, after the arrival of an unassuming country girl. Comfort Me With Apples

Farm, The

Synopsis:
Nothing I do has changed. I'm doing what's always been done on this piece of land.' the farm is running at a loss, but Vic is determined to keep working. He'll do everything he can, work day and night, but he won't admit that his small farm has no future. as the rural crisis deepens the three generations of his family look for ways to save the farm. Glass Eels

Synopsis:
During a heady hot summer, a young girl's sexual awakening is coloured by shadows of her early childhood. Written with Leyshon's characteristic stark lyricism and suffused with the austere poetry of the West Country, Grass eels Dramatises the unconscious world of instinct where the lives of humans, plants and eels are all red by the primal rhythms of the wetlands.

Winter

Synopsis:
set in the 19th century about a mother and her daughters who have emigrated to Newfoundland to accompany their fisherman father. He drowns and the women have to decide whether to stay or return to Dorset.
