Synopsis:
Cuban-Jewish girl with a superstitious mother and an eating disorder that can only be cured by Tina Turner. No wonder she's sorry. a one woman play about dogs, finding purpose, and how a people-pleasing apologist became an animal-loving activist.
Notes:
I'm Sorry was workshopped at The Lounge Theatre in Los Angeles, January 13 - 23, 2011, and directed by Lauren Patrice Nadler. The first full and official run, based on this published script, ran at The Lounge Theatre, April 29 - May 22, 2011 and was directed by Gilles Chiasson. Shortly after, I'm Sorry received a 2011 Ovation Recommendation in Los Angeles. I'm Sorry premiered as part of The New York International Fringe Festival at the White Box Theatre, August 18 - 26, 2012, directed by Gilles Chiasson.
