Cariad Lloyd is an actor and comedian. She has recently finished a tour of Danny's Deal for Old Vic New Voices. Last year she toured with sell out spoof gothic horror, Is That a Bolt In Your Neck? (Gonzo Moose). Other Theatre credits include the Good Guide (Soho Theatre), Movieplex (National Theatre Studio), ashes (Pleasance). Film work includes Caravan (Babycow) and Hallo Panda (Charlie Productions/Film4). She is also a highly experienced improviser, performing weekly at Grand theft Impro, annually at the London 50 hour Improvathon; and guest work with Ken Campbell's School of Night and Showstopper! the Improvised Musical. She has also improvised in the US, Canada and austriA. She can be seen in Edinburgh in her own solo show, Lady Cariad's Characters ("VeRY funny. Go and see her." Rob Brydon), and performing in brand new sketch troupe Men Of War, as well as directing Edinburgh sell-out Shakespeare for Breakfast.

Synopsis:
Horrific experiments! Illicit love! Lurking terror! a death-defying finale! as lightening flashes across the sky, the rugged silhouette of a crumbling castle looms out of the darkness. Lost in a storm, this seems like the only possible refuge a¬ but what happens when you hear mysterious moaning in the middle of the night? Behind every door lurks unimaginable horror! Inspired by gothic horror movie classics of the 1930s, Is That a Bolt In Your Neck? is a fast-paced, rollicking ride mixing spooky paranoia, surreal nightmare and frantic farce. Suitable for audiences from ages from 8 to 80 this is an ideal family show packed full of hilarious slapstick, verbal wit, live music and magical illusion which will make you gasp in amazement and laugh so hard your eyeballs fall out.
