Brian Luna was born deep in the heart of Texas, raised in San Antonio, and had high hopes of playing for the Dallas Cowboys until he learned that size and talent were a deciding factor. He left the Lone Star State to go to the Big Apple where he studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. No, he doesn't sing. After appearing on stages across the city, he ventured into film, television, and eventually writing. Being a Latino actor has pushed Brian to create his own work with the hope of representing underrepresented cultures in non-stereotypical ways. Brian would like to thank Superman, Elvis, Willie, Waylon, and Johnny for their inspiration. He'd like to thank Matt Clouston, Letia Clouston, Kenny and Tammy Kai Frazier, Kennon Fullen, Amy Stengel, Mrs. Kopsky, Mrs. Agnew, and Padraic Lillis for their guidance and support. He'd also like to thank his wife for always giving him new reasons to open his heart, her mother who challenged him to write this play, and his father, Ben Luna, who made him believe a man can fly. He is now working on writing his second one man show to be performed in 2014, producing Broken Toy, a web series he has created with his production company Forewarned Films, and developing another web series entitled The Last Rodriguez.
