York theatre Company presents Triumphant Baby: Lorinda Lisitza Sings the Songs of Iconis and Maddock, a new musical theatre concert. the following description is from the show's press release: "the show is a concert about hick towns and hussies and all the good and bad things that can happen to a lady with a hankering for fame and murder. and root beer floats! the audience is catapulted into the world of this ambitious girl's journey through the highs and lows of love, heartbreak, criminal digressions, dreams, failures and the great 'triumph' of survival. Triumphant Baby is partly a tribute to Old Hollywood and vintage tales about hooligans and hookers."
