3 Irish Widows Versus The Rest Of The World, The

Synopsis:
the 3 irish widows versus the rest of the world is a darkly comic look at what it takes to be an Irish Catholic feminist in the modern world. The play follows three 65-year-old working class Irish women, Maura, Margaret, and Breda, all over Europe and New York as they seek happiness, fullfillment, and love away from the backwaters of Ireland. Will they find it? Or will they end up being disgusted and repelled by what they call 'the sex and city generation' 'feminisim me arse!' The play will be perfomed by the son of one of the women, Ed Malone, a manic deranged Irish storyteller, and features over 25 different characters. Loosely based on actual events
