Synopsis:
The Prince of Pouponaco wants a sturdy peasant-wife in order to regenerate the feeble line of the Poupons. The girl he chooses is unfortunately engaged to a handsome peasant lad. an inconvenient peasant can be hanged, but the prince chooses psychological warfare instead.
