Special Measures
Synopsis:
St Judes (Patron saint of no-hopers) primary school in Netherton has been placed into special measures following a damning OFSTED report. MP Thomas Winters is in the Prime Ministers bad-books for whacking him in the balls thanks to his limp grip on a croquet bat and has now been sent up to the grim North to pay his dues to the Conservative party. Needless to say he visits St. Judes as a way of upping his PR for his party, however his lecherous and salacious nature comes to fruition and the staff at St Judes arent buying his excuses and put up a rather out of the ordinary fight.

Taboo
Synopsis:
Set in an abandoned London warehouse, the partly imagined story of a group of club 'names' set in the location of what was the city's most fashionable nightclub, the now-legendary Taboo (198587) of the title, which was the creation of Leigh Bowery. Boy George is featured as one of the club's regulars, but in reality, George rarely attended. The show also focuses on George's life prior to and after achieving fame. The show is based partly on the New Romantic scene of the 1980s. At its core is the life and career of colourful pop star Boy George (who rose to global prominence in the early 1980s with his band Culture Club) and his contemporaries, including performance artist and club promoter Leigh Bowery, pop singer Marilyn, Blitz nightclub host Steve Strange (later of the electro-pop group Visage), and Philip Sallon, Punk groupie and Mud Club promoter. Although George was intimate with the central figures, artistic license around relationships and time frames was taken for continuity; for example, Bowery never attended the Blitz nightclub, as he was living in Australia at the time.
