John Marshall grew up in a modest and honest family. In his late teens he decided to understand the seedier side of life so he became a lawyer. Having practised law for many years, but before his last ethical principle could be destroyed, he undertook study in comparative religion in order to find God. Unfortunately God did not appear. Taking on the mantle of God, John took up a teaching position. Not satisfied with this degree of masochism he also began training for marathon running. He succeeded in this pursuit by doing irreparable damage to his knees. One final human endeavour had to be challenged. John began writing plays and is now successfully falling into a complete state of insanity. Thus far two one-act plays, RESTORATIONS and REVELATIONS, and a two-act play, HARD YAKKA, have been produced in Sydney fringe theatre. IS ANDREAS COMING?, a play about autism, has had a moved reading at the New Theatre in Sydney and was selected for inclusion in the Australian National Playwrights' conference in Canberra in 1998.

Man Of Blood

Synopsis:
1642. Cromwell opposes Charles1 for control of Parliament. The conflict leads to Civil War, which Cromwell relishes. Charles is devious and manipulates both sides. Following the war Charles is brought to trial for treason. He maintains that he is answerable only to God, but he is found guilty and subsequently beheaded.

There's More To Life Than Money And Sex

Synopsis:
Colin Blanchard, a lawyer, has been appointed executor of the will of the late Mary Brown. She has left ten million dollars to be shared equally between the Little Sisters of Desperation and the Monastery of St Michael Assisi of the Cloistered Knitters. But Colin has devised a scheme whereby he will get all of the money. Felicity Fondling is integral to his scheme but Madeline Orr, Colin's secretary, who is eager to 'disrobe' Colin, believes the Little Sisters and the Cloistered Knitters should get the money. She must thwart Colin's scheme without thwarting her scheme to get Colin.
