David Marx is an up and coming Los Angeles-based playwright and screenwriter. He won an Overall Excellence in Playwriting Award at the 2012 New York Fringe Festival for his debut production of WOULD. In 2011, he graduated from Northwestern University's prestigious Creative Writing for the Media Program. He is currently working in development as a script reader for the producers of Requiem for a Dream, Across the Universe, and Garden State.

Synopsis:
Charged as an adult and sentenced to life in prison at 14-years-old, Daniel writes an alternative life with a pen pal. Chapter by chapter they fabricate the life he'll never have. A play about happiness, guilt, forgiveness, and hope.
