Oscar Wilde, Sir Henry Irving & Dame Ellen Terry, Charles Dickens, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Tosti and Dame Melba, the Bronte sisters, Gilbert & Sullivan, and many more. The Queen met very many of these famous artists who performed at her Royal Command.
