Haven't We Seen This Kind Of Thing Before?
Synopsis:
Jerry, an established aging playwright - who writes safe, light comedies and is currently down on his luck - and Craig, a new young playwright - not long graduated from university and who wants to write challenging contemporary theatre - get the chance to write a play collaboratively for a local theatre with the intention of being staged at the theatre by professional actors. Because of their differing views of writing plays their writing process is far from smooth. They disagree about everything, from deciding what their play should be about to how they should plan it. Meanwhile, Craig is having problems with his girlfriend, Lauren - they argue because she does not share his level of interest in the theatre. When he meets Jerry's daughter, Sharon, he falls immediately in love with her and begins an affair with her. Soon, the play they are writing begins to mirror the action between Craig and the two women. Once Jerry discovers the truth, Craig tries to rectify the damage wrought between the four characters by writing an apology in the form of the final scene of their play.

Like Lego Bricks
Synopsis:
Two old friends - Neil and Chris - are on the run from the law and are reunited in an old abandoned warehouse after not having seen each other for a few years. They reminisce about their school days from Primary 1 through to when they left. Neil is upfront and sometimes abrasive whereas Chris is shy and introverted. They go through the various disagreements they had whilst growing up, which they in turn disagree about, which is mostly borne out of their contrasting personalities and their subsequent make-ups. When the police close in on them, Neil admits that the only reason they remained friends in spite of their different personalities is because he had romantic feelings towards Chris, which he does not reciprocate. They try to decide whether to continue running or turn themselves in. As usual, they disagree and Chris turns himself in while Neil continues running. Eventually Neil changes his mind and turns himself in.
