Bottom of the Box, The

Synopsis:
Abbey Martin has a dead-end job, a flat-line marriage, her first hot flash, and, at age fifty, has just learned that she's living in a 'post-feminist' world. She also has a 'guardian' if you will in the person of Swapneshwari, the Hindu goddess of dreams. After showing signs of potentially suicidal behavior, we find Abbey a voluntary admit on a psych ward in a suburban Seattle hospital. Her conversations with hospital staff, and the vivid snatches of dreams she has during naps, reveal the sources of her middle-age discontent: the pharmaceutically-fixated medical establishment; her perceived failure of the women's movement; her stable but unfulfilling marriage; her desire for meaningful and rewarding work; and her fears of the economics of making changes. With the assistance of her dream visitors, Simone de Beauvoir, Bernard Shaw and a teenage 'amazing girl,' the Goddess helps to point the way for Abbey's journey back from a life of misdirection and despair. As the clock runs out on her three-day observation period, Abbey makes some daring and surprising choices.

Cyclone! True Stories of the Columbus Day Storm

Synopsis:
This production commemorates the anniversary of the Columbus Day Storm which an extra tropical cyclone that ranked among the most intense to strike the United States' west coast. the story is woven by a cast with a storyline in real time, a cast with survivor stories set in 1962, and actual filmed interviews with survivors of the storm. A DVD of the production is available for historical and other organizations interested in the famous storm or in oral history in general.

Synopsis:
Juliet Capulet invites four other heroines of Shakespeare's classics - Katharina, Portia, Ophelia and Desdemona - to lunch in her favorite garden in Verona to discuss 'issues' they all have with their plots And each of the ladies has suggestions how these issues might be remedied! Shakespeare, therefore, has also been invited But instead, the Bard sends an envoy, his literary agent and editor Jacqueline de Boys, who attempts to save the day with the help of Juliet's Nurse! Macbeth on CNN

Synopsis:
the entire story of Shakespeare's Macbeth as seen through the view of a 'breaking news' TV anchor Blaine Bland on the 'Curious News Network.' Interspersed with relevant scenes from the play, Bland interviews a guest psychiatrist, political commentators, terrorism analyst, travel correspondent, battlefront correspondents and even the weathergirl for background on the developing story coming out of Scotland.
