Callaghan's Place
Synopsis:
Paul and Mary Dolan struggle to come to terms with the upcoming departure of their only child to study at university. A mysterious Englishman arrives in their midst and his blossoming friendship with the daughter creates the backdrop to tragedy as neighbours Pat Kelly and Annie Jackson, themselves custodians of great regret and sorrow, fail to stem the tide of Paul's suspicion and anger. For all the seriousness of the underlying themes, Callaghan's Place is peppered with scenes of outrageous humour.

Love Is
Synopsis:
John McDwyer describes Love Is. . . as a complete departure from his previous fun-filled work. While there remain many humorous touches in this play, the writer is taking a very serious approach to two aspects of modern life and death and how events impact on people's commitment to love. He describes the work as something he had to get out of his system and says that it was the most difficult work he has taken on as a writer. It is a work that is laced with personal and social commentary and he says he has been overwhelmed by the audience response to this new work which became another Beezneez blockbuster.
Notes:
Love is consists of two separate monologues with the connection being the readings used At wedding cerelonies.

Lovely Leitrim
Synopsis:
Armed with the certainty of motherhood, Mary Gallagher is convinced she knows what is best for her family in the event of her death. Her insistence on being granted her dying wish ultimately fragments her family and results in a cataclysmic evening in a London pub where her eldest son finally makes peace with himself and with the world. the unbridled wit of the dialogue sugars the sadness of a passing way of life. Turning Mammy
Synopsis:
Described by the author as a comedy with a few serious bits, Turning Mammy tells the story of two spinster sisters and their bachelor neighbour. One sister is in search of her baby which was adopted at birth whilst the other is in search of their neighbour's hand in marriage. Neighbour, Ambrose, is, however, saddled with a bed bound mother and there is more to all searches than meet the eye. Sad and hilarious in equal measure.
