Lisa is currently developing an original 60' drama project with BBC Northern Ireland and a 30' sitcom pilot with Channel 4. She has written an episode for the upcoming series INDIAN SUMMERS for New Pictures/C4 and is mid way writing a further two episodes for the second series. Her original six-part sitcom LONDON IRISH, produced by Company Pictures for C4, went out last year. Lisa wrote an episode of THE WHITE QUEEN, an adaptation of Philippa Gregory's The Cousins War series of historical novels for Company Pictures/BBC1. Prior to this, she was developing Martina Cole's THE FAMILY for Company Pictures/Sky. She wrote an episode each for the second, third and fourth series' of the BAFTA-nominated BEING HUMAN (Touchpaper/BBC3) having previously completed the third series of RAW, her original TV series for Ecosse/RTE, which earned her both IFTA and Zebbie nominations. Her stageplay JUMP has been adapted as a feature by Hot Shot Films and Northern Ireland Screen. Previously, Lisa wrote the 60' pilot THE THINGS I HAVEN'T TOLD YOU for Tiger Aspect/BBC3 and contributed to Channel 4's TOTALLY FRANK. Lisa's plays include THE HEIGHTS, for the National Theatre Connections 2009 performed in the Olivier theatre, NINETEEN NINETY TWO, part of the The Fairer Sex season at The Abbey Theatre Dublin. Her play JUMP had a critically-acclaimed off-Broadway run at the Exchange Theatre, New York in 2008, and was more recently directed by Max Roberts at Live Theatre Newcastle. Previous plays include GIRLS AND DOLLS (Stewart Parker Award Winner; Susan Smith Blackburn Award runner up; Irish Theatre Award nominee) and SEVEN YEARS AND SEVEN HOURS for Rough Magic. Lisa was the Writer on Attachment at the National Theatre in 2006.

Girls And Dolls

Synopsis:
A striking play from Northern Ireland about two women and the childhood tragedy they'll never be allowed to forget. For Emma and Clare, 1980 was the summer they met at the swings, the summer they built a tree house and stole from Dennis O'Donnell's shop. the summer a young mother and her infant daughter moved into number 14. . . Now in their thirties, Emma and Clare struggle to come to terms with the chain of devastating events that began that summer, to understand what they did, what they became and how they were judged.

Heights, The

Heights, The
Lillie Lee lives on the Heights estate. Confined to her bedroom by sickness, Lillie feels isolated and abnormal. Her bedroom window is her only connection to the outside world; she obsessively watches her neighbours from it and keeps herself occupied by making up stories about them. An unusual encounter with Dara, another girl from the estate, leads the two teenagers to strike up a firm friendship that may prove to be dangerous.
