Natalie McGrath is currently under commission by Devon Records Office to write a play for Deaf Awareness Month 2011. In the pipeline is The Peace a play about Mo Mowlam supported by Peggy Ramsay Foundation and a short play for Tangle's A Drop to Drink project. Recently commissioned by Bristol Old Vic for Short Fuses April 2010 with Wild Doves. Coasting is currently under development at Bristol Old Vic and Metal Remains produced at the Alma Tavern by Theatre West in Bristol 2008 was shortlisted for the 2009 Meyer Whitworth Award - National Theatre Foundation.

Coasting
Synopsis:
the Stretch snakes along the seafront in a seaside town that has seen better days. Summer left a long time ago and now the paint is peeling, the beach is windswept and the tourists have all taken the last train home. Using their own language in their own small world, best friends Pearl and Ocean precariously cling together making small change from fruit machines and temporarily escaping the Stretch by whatever means possible. And then, one night, with fireworks exploding in the sky and police sirens wailing, Ocean sees the body on the beach. . .

Metal Remains
Synopsis:
A soldier is posted to Iraq and her lover mourns her departure. A mother searches desperately for her son and a daughter becomes consumed by the beauty of the desert. Four women, all caught up in the crossfire search for personal liberation, understanding, hope and love. As unstoppable forces collide, brutality and tenderness meet. 'sometimes a heart wants to keep things hidden for a little while.'

Oxygen
Synopsis:
Imagine that fifteen women gather. they have a conversation. Map eight geographic arteries across England (like points on a compass). these arteries reach out towards a singular destination, (like roots forming a tree). In Cornwall, a group of women start walking along one of these arteries. Carrying a banner that says: Land's End to Hyde Park. It is June, 1913 and the Great Suffrage Pilgrimage begins.
