Crush

Synopsis:
Kate is an American headmistress working in a small town in England. She shares both a sense of general dissatisfaction and a healthy sense of humour with her two best friends, Janine, a no-nonsense policewoman doing the evening class circuit, and Molly, a sharp tongued doctor with a history of dating rich unsuitable men. They meet weekly to discuss who is the 'saddest' as they drink gin and bemoan their failed relationships. Kate is a woman torn between deciding to settle for her safe admirer or to hold out for a passionate affair.
