Shona's passion for the arts has led her to work in professional and community theatre, on radio and television, in Barlinnie prison and on large scale outdoor passion play productions. Her roles include actor, director, writer, drama tutor, musical stage manager, lecturer in radio script writing, co-ordinator of a community radio station, and Artistic Manager of Strathclyde University's Crawfurd Theatre. She sings gospel, plays ceilidh accordion, and writes slam and performance poetry. She now has a silver fern as well as a Scottish thistle in her cap having recently relocated with her husband to Wellington NZ. She still collaborates with UK companies as a writer thanks to email and Skype, and keeps a home in Lanark. Shona currently works as a Puppeteer/Writer/Musician with award winning Little Dog Barking Theatre, Wellington which has been invited by Summerhall to represent NZ children's theatre at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Wolf Erlbruch's Duck Death & The Tulip.
