Stephen Measday is an award-winning scriptwriter and the author of seventeen books for younger readers. His awards include an Australian Writers Guild (AWGIE) Award for the original radio drama, Partners, and a Media Peace Award from the United Nations Association of Australia for an episode of A Country Practice. Stephen has had two plays professionally produced: Blow Fly Blow by La Boite Theatre, Brisbane, and Mark Twain Down Under: The Most Beautiful Lies by Playbox Theatre, Melbourne. Mark Twain Down Under also featured at the Mackay Arts Festival in 2007. His plays have had dozens of amateur productions. He has been Script Editor for eleven series on the Logie Award-winning educational variety program, Hi-5 (series 3-12, 2001-2011) and Hi 5 House(series 3-4, 2014). The program was nominated for U.S. Emmy Awards in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Stephen has also written for Erky Perky, New Macdonald's Farm, Blue Heelers, GP, Wicked, Mirror, Mirror 2, The Ferals, Ship to Shore andSkytrackers 2. He has written an original feature, The Time Game (also published as a novel). Stephen's novels have been published in Australia, Germany, the UK, France, Indonesia and South Korea. His current time travel novel series, Send Simon Savage, has just been published in Germany (2014) by DTV as Time Agents: Treffpunkt Zukunft.
