Vince is originally from Western PennsylvaniA. While attending Penn State University, and short on credits, he took the only class still open, "Principles of Playwriting." Having never written a play before, he panicked upon learning he had to have a one act play written by the end of the term. So, he called his father for advice, "Write what you know, son. You don't know about King Henry the 5th, do you? So, write what you know." That night he began work on his one act play "MAKING MOVES", about a group of janitors in a Western Pennsylvania hospital. the play was produced at Penn State the next year. He went on to attend the Professional Training Program for actors at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. While at A.C.T, he also worked in the "Plays in Progress" unit, focusing on the reading and development of new plays. Eventually, he moved to Southern California and became a member of the award winning Pacific Resident Theatre Ensemble, where he was really given a chance to hone his skills as both actor and writer. As a member of PRT, Vince co-created "the Writers Group at PRT".. It was in that writers workshop that his critically acclaimed, Ovation award nominated full length play, "LIONS" was born. After various workshop stagings and readings, LIONS was produced as part of PRT's 2008 season, with director Guillermo Cienfuegos at the helm. After it's sold out run at PRT, LIONS was published by SAMUEL FRENCH. Along with his full length plays, JULIA, LIONS and FIGURES, his writing also includes a number of one acts, including: BULLY, the LAST LINEN DAY, and the aforementioned MAKING MOVES. As an actor he's worked consistently in film, television, and Theatre. A sampling of credits include SoutHLAnd, Desperate Housewives, Cold Case, Seinfeld and E.R. On stage, he has appeared in Camino Real, Golden Boy, All My Sons, Rocket to the Moon, Awake and Sing, the Three Sisters and Time of Your Life, among others. He also appeared in Robert Schenkien's Pulitzer Prize winning play, "the Kentucky Cycle" at the Mark Taper Forum. He is a member of the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights
Research: Member of the Dramatists Guild of America (as at 2015)
