Kathleen A. Menino holds a Masters Degree in Drama from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. As an actress she worked for many regional theatres including The Oak Creek Theatre Company, The Public Theatre of Maine and The Phoenix Theatre Ensemble of NYC. She was a company member of the Arkansas Arts Center's Children's Theatre. She was a founder of a children's touring company based out of the Sedona Arts Center. Ms. Menino has written and directed several children's plays at the Hudson Theatre Ensemble in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Aesop's Fables
Synopsis:
Mr. Tortoise and Ms. Hare are holding auditions for a new acting troupe called Aesop's Acting Ensemble. All of the actors are excited to perform the beloved fables, but the pompous acting duo of Dame Patty and Sir Reynard threaten everyone's fun. Will the duo be able to work with the rest of the group as a team? Only the timeless morals of Aesop's tales will help them to make friends and learn their lesson.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Synopsis:
In this adaptation by Kathy Menino, Goldilocks is seen as a spoiled and somewhat demanding diva who is extremely bossy towards a perfectly nice family of bears. This free wheeling 30-minute play is the first part of the 2009 Phoenix for the Family Program. It is suitable for children 4 and up.
