Literary Agent:    n/a

Peter began writing for the theatre in 2011, adapting Charles Dickens's miraculous story A Christmas Carol, as part of workshops devised for the bicentenary of Dickens' birth in 2012, one of which was filmed by the BBC, and broadcast that year. ACC was scheduled for production at the Old Fire Station in Oxford. His second play "Mischief" was performed at the Corpus Playroom, Cambridge in March 2015. The play grew out of, though is not directly based on, his having being on stage with a multi-award winning, Oscar nominated actor, reminiscing about his past, and the reasons for his one great success on stage and in film, which led to his world-wide fame. Peter's third play "Mobile" was completed in 2016. It is a contemporary spy drama with a twist. Peter has published a number of books, most notably, perhaps, a humorous, "thesaurus" of management terms. Peter studied English at Exeter College, Oxford.

Mischief

Synopsis:
A celebrated actor struggles with his failing powers. Out of a mischievous memory he discovers the magical ingredients of his greatest role and how he made it his own. Inspired by real events, the play is serious and comic; a passionate and poignant reflection of acting, destiny and identity. We follow the actor's journey as he reflects, sometimes hilariously, on his successes, lost opportunities, influences and loves. Only to find that his greatest love and inspiration re-appears, like a benign haunting, from his formative days, challenging his very heart. It's never too late.

The characters in the play cross generations as well as cultures, in a location rich in local atmosphere and music, set on the glorious Italian Riviera, and celebrating Italian and English attitudes and behaviors, applicable to all!
