Lester Morgan, the eldest sibling in an estranged middle class black family, struggles to reunite his brothers and sisters in time for their father's funeral. His obstacle is the family matriarch, Bertha, whose vindictive and controlling behavior stifles any hope for relationships among her children.

Revolution Row

Synopsis:
In a highly dystopian future, political domination by an increasingly repressive right-wing US government provokes a civil disobedience movement inspired by a charismatic gay leader. Joined by an assortment of activists from other socially liberal causes, the gay refuseniks overload the federal prison system by refusing to pay their taxes, leading to a national civil crisis.
