Emilie Miller is an actor and playwright. Her solo-show Cinghiale! earned her a Los Angeles Stage Alliance Ovation Award Nomination, "the Ray Stricklyn Memorial Award for Solo Performance," and was also listed by Angeleno Magazine as a "Top Ten" pick. Preceding its successful run in Los Angeles, Cinghiale! was presented in San Francisco at the Exit Theatre. the Half Moon Bay Review Magazine named Emilie one of "the Top 20 Women Making an Impact." Growing up in the suburbs of Baltimore, Emilie attended Carver Center for the Arts and Technology magnet high school. there she created a Theatre piece with three other women that won the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum's "A Grand Design" contest. the museum called their play the "first live art piece that could stand amidst the Victoria and Albert Museum's vast collection." She has since studied Theatre at Stanford University, Sarah Lawrence College, and La MaMa UmbriA. Emilie has performed with such Theatres as Baltimore's Center Stage, Mountain View's Theatre Works, and San Francisco's Fool'sFury. Her father is baseball broadcaster Jon Miller.

Cinghiale!
Cinghiale! is the story of a little girl who has a wild boar living in her bedroom closet. Downstairs, her mother holds a weekly support group for women. the wild boar has truth. the women have guns. When these women's voices aren't heard, they let their guns do the talking. Confession turns to aggression. Everyone is armed, loaded, and dangerous. When wild women hunt for wild life, anything is fair game. the heart is a wild beast it must never be tamed. . .
