Even In Another Time
Synopsis:
Shadows cast shadows; the past still lingers in all of our lives. Six women confront demons, dark truths and exploding egos in three shorts inspired by the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Francis and Sue attempt to get to know each other over a fish tea. Laura is refused entry to a gay club with startling repercussions. Back in ancient Greece, Sapphos reputation as the pioneer of lady love is being passionately disputed. Secrets and self-delusion, rejection and acceptance, regression and progression: writer and director Wendy Miller explores womens complex relationships and the conflicts at the heart of humanity and societal evolution.
