Ted Minos is founder and Producing Artistic Director of Moose Hall Theatre Company and the Inwood Shakespeare Festival (ISF). Since 2000 ISF has served over 39,000 members of the Northern Manhattan Community and beyond. He has been a professional actor in NYC for over 30 years. A member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA he has played featured roles in television with an extensive theatrical background having worked in Regional Theatres such as Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, New York Off Broadway Theatres such as The Public Theatre (Joe Papp producer), Ensemble Studio Theatre and the Roundabout Theatre. He's also performed at the Gene Frankel Theatre, New Dramatists and River Arts Theatre among others. As a director he has staged one third of the Shakespeare Canon and many contemporary plays. As a playwright for the outdoor venue, Ted has adapted seven plays from classical and popular literature and has written four original plays, SPARTACUS a historical/fictional account of the Roman slave uprising, TOMBSTONE, SAGA OF AMERICANS - THE WEST Historic/Fiction based on characters and events leading to the shootout at the OK Corral, THE GOLEM (Heart of Light, Mind of Darkness) a gothic/horror tale inspired from Jewish folk-tales and stories of the Kabala, and ZAPATA! TIGER OF MORELOS based on the life of the legendary Mexican rebel Emiliano Zapata, presented as part of ISF in Inwood Hill Park Peninsula. He has an extensive resume as a producer including stage, opera and chamber music. He is an honoree of the 2010 Uptown Arts Stroll for his contribution to the arts and efforts to bring excellent programming to Upper Manhattan.

Spartacus
Synopsis:
Original: historic /fiction; about the Spartacus slave uprising in 72BC told with a pastiche of Roman New Comedy (in the style of Plautus), Heroic meloDrama and Realism. the story follows Spartacus' victories over the Roman legions as he fights for freedom from Rome and a consensus within his own insurgency.
