Tony Mitchell is a-senior lecturer in Writing, Performance, and Cultural Studies at the University of Technology, Sydney. He is the author of Dario Fo: People's Court Jester, File on Dario Fo, High Art in a Foreign Tongue: Adelaide Ristori's 1875 Australian Tour, and Popular Music and Local Identity: Rock, Pop and Rap in Europe and Oceania. His translations of plays by Dario Fo and Dacia Maraini have been performed in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and South Africa.
