Steve Mize is a Professional Actor and writer currently based in Los Angeles. His first Solo Show, Life, Audited premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2013, where he won the Silverman Award for his work in the Fringe. Life, Audited then went Off-Broadway in NYC for the United Solo Festival, where he won Best Comedian of the Festival. He is also an All-Star storyteller from The Moth, and performs original stories in Los Angeles. You have seen Steve on television in Bones, Ironside, Lie To Me and the Series Finale of ER. In New York City, Steve has worked with the New York Theatre Workshop, Circle in the Square-Downtown, Primary Stages and the John Montgomery Theater Company. As a lifetime member of The Actors Studio, Steve performed in Orphans, Staten Island Ferry, and They Eat Their Young. He has been the lead in over a dozen short films, more than 20 National commercials and is a two-time award winning member of ToastMasters International and a professional speaker. He holds an M.F.A. degree in acting from the inaugural class of the Actors Studio Program at the New School University. While an undergraduate at Texas A&M University, he toured the American Premier of Saturday Night at the Palace, for which he won a Best Actor in the Regional ACTF Festival. He is proud to have studied under teachers like Ellen Burstyn, Estelle Parsons, Arthur Penn, Martin Landau and Austin Pendleton. He was born and raised in Texas.

Synopsis:
A true David & Goliath story of self-discovery, while one average man defends himself against the IRS, told through receipts, anxiety, diet soda. . .and a hint of creativity. En route, he audits his life, and comes face to face with his own inner dilemma.
