Dust
Synopsis:
Set in the wake of a traumatic event, this riff on J.M. Barries Peter Pan shows a world filled with seemingly aimless high school girls. The Sirens compete with the sirens of the Boston streets below as their story unfolds. They are the Lost Girls. They are mermaids. They are everything. Their world is both created and disrupted by the presence of James a fiercely unwell student struggling to find his voice. The only person who understands him is the headstrong Wendy, James childhood best friend. And maybe understand isnt the right word. Maybe its all about carving out a place for yourself in a world in flux. Peppered with dance, Dust toes the line between play and ballet, giving voice to the unspeakable.
