SEAN PATRICK MONAHAN is a New York-based playwright, actor, vocalist, and a member of Less Than Rent Theatre. He has appeared on stages across New York, including New World Stages, Lincoln Center, the Helen Hayes Theatre, and The Wild Project. With Less Than Rent, he has performed in Words, Razors, and the Wounded Heart and in Little Town Blues, and his play Though Soft You Tread Above Me received a developmental workshop and a staged presentation at The Gene Frankel Theater. His play High Upon the Gallows Tree won first prize in Manhattan Repertory Theater's One-Act Competition in 2012. Other plays include Thank You, Fifteen, The Front Porch Play, and The Verse Play, all of which premiered at Fordham University. Sean Patrick has also worked extensively with theatre legend and Tony-nominee Charles Busch, in readings of Mr. Busch's work for Theatreworks USA, at the Drama Bookshop, at Manhattan Theater Club, and in the annual staged reading of Times Square Angel at Theater for the New City. He is currently a student at Fordham University's College at Lincoln Center, where he is pursuing a B.A. in Theatre, with a double concentration in Playwriting and Performance.
