French Mistress, The
Synopsis:
Lysette has been appointed French Mistress to a boys public school. On the first day of term all the boys and the male staff are infatuated with her. the headmaster's son, Peter falls in love with her too and they are soon very close. When it turns out that Lysette does not know who her Father was and Peter discovers that his Father knew Lysette's mother in the War he puts two and two together. Upset at Peter's sudden indifference and coldness Lysette says she is leaving. the boys riot when they hear this. Lysette confesses that she lied about her age when she applied for the job and is not as old as she claimed and therefore could not be Peter's half-sister.

Kensington Squares
Synopsis:
Retired colonel Geoffrey and wife Maude are horrified when their son Harry tells them that he is giving up being a medical student to become a rock and roll star. Geoffrey is won round when he learns of the amounts of money Harry is likely to earn. Harry acquires an agent. the agent does not like the exclusive area of Kensington that they live in. Rock stars have humble origins. He persuades Geoffrey and Maude to move to the East End and pass themselves off as cockneys.
