Elaine Morgan OBE (born November 7, 1920) is a Welsh writer for television and also the author of several books on evolutionary anthropology, especially the aquatic ape hypothesis: The Descent of Woman, The Aquatic Ape, The Scars of Evolution, The Descent of the Child, The Aquatic Ape Hypothesis, and The Naked Darwinist (2008), which discusses the reception of aquatic scenarios in academic literature. Synopsis:
Eve has had a bit of a breakdown and has gone to spend some time with her sister and brother in law Midge and Tom. Tom does not really want Eve to come. However, Eve is soon cooking lunch for Tom whilst Midge is at work. And then goes out on Tom's rounds with him. Tom is a vet. Midge starts to get jealous. Then Tom says that he and Eve are to take an overnight break and will be staying at an hotel. When Tom gets ready he cannot find a single pair of trousers. Midge has found a way to stop him from straying

Soldier and the Woman, The
Synopsis:
Simon the inn keeper talks to his wife Rachel about the woman who gave birth to a son in their stable and how they disappeared over night. There is a commotion outside and Rachel goes to see what it is. She returns frantic - soldiers have arrived and they are killing all the children. She gets her baby son and leaves to try and hide - but is unsuccessful and her child is killed. Later she and Simon discover a badly wounded soldier in the stable. Rachel sees that she has an opportunity for revenge
