Leonard Morley, died Tuesday 22nd November 2011, was a semi-pro writer since 1952, selling humorous poems and articles at age 14. Free-lance journalist for two years until near-starvation. Began writing for the stage in the 1970's with pantomimes, one-act plays, murder mysteries and other comedy scripts. Also a series of training video's for builders. Plays performed world-wide, in both amateur and professional productions. Now (2009) semi-retired though still writing, and still active in amateur Theatre. Founded Outcasts Theatre Group, also Outcast Productions, publishing arm.

Bad Reception

Synopsis:
Alex and Vicky, divorced for a while, are left to clear up the mess after the wedding reception of their daughter and new son-in-law, married in what was the Wedding from Hell. the tension is thick and tempers flare, but slowly. . . gradually. . . they approach a new rapport.

Harpy And the Slob, The

Synopsis:
Maggy has taken refuge from the raucous party downstairs, when she is joined by Richard. With Maggy sharp and brittle, and Richard highly nervous, the meeting is by turns awkward, friendly and hostile, but ends with both being tentatively pleased with the dawning of a new relationship.

Hell And Damnation

Synopsis:
A sequel to Hell and Highwater. Times are desperate at Summerville House, what with rising costs for the safari park, and weak spots in the lions' enclosure. And now the intrusion of an evil taxman sets off a chain of events that threaten the whole family with prison. Once again, the situation is saved by the incomparable butler, Beacham.

Hell And High Water

Synopsis:
It's dinner at Summerville House. No Summerville has ever missed dinner in seventeen generations, and Lord Charles is determined that a simple burst water-pipe will not prevail now. As the water-level rises, the family remain stoic, except for a visiting lounge lizard. As they are all marooned on the table and panic rises, the day is saved by Beacham, Lord Charles' indomitable butler.

Kevin and Sandra, on a cheap package holiday in the banana republic of Boliguay, find themselves caught up in this week's revolution. On the Outside

Synopsis:
It's no fun for disgraced solictor Denzil, waking up on a park bench after his first night living on the outside. And then he meets bag-lady Kate, resplendent in her old muddy wedding-dress, with her life's possessions in a shopping trolley, and her imaginary dog Smudge. At first he almost has to fight for possession of the bench, but then she begins to teach him the awful realities of his new life. And a rapport begins to develop.

Sit Vac

Synopsis:
A sequel to the Harpy and the Slob. Both Maggy and Richard are convinced that the other has stood them up. And when Richard turns up for a job interview to find that Maggy is conducting it, the sparks fly. Maggy refuses to carry it through, so Richard begins a sit-in on the filing cabinet. When the evil Sir Kenneth demands the vacancy is filled immediately, Maggy offers Richard the job. But Richard now has other ideas. . .

A meeting of the Play Selection Committee of Risselton Amateur theatre Society (R.A.T.S.) the choice is between two rival playwrights - both daggers drawn. Uncle Jasper

Synopsis:
Today the most important contract for years is to be signed by Sir Jasper. Last seen in a strip club, he has gone missing. Nephew Simon battles to save the firm's bacon, grappling with randy plumbers, drunken strippers, and rats as big as dogs, in a classic one-act farce of double identities, female impersonations and ever-rising panic.
