"I was born in 1984 in Yorba Linda, California and spent the remainder of my formative years in and around Southern California. Mainly in San Diego County, briefly in Orange County, but if pressed, I will still give my home town as "Disneyland." As a boy, I was vaguely aware that my father had been an actor when he was in college. He frequently referred to the fact of his having played Oscar in 'The Odd Couple.' So when I came across a copy of the play on his bookshelf, I was intrigued and started reading right then and there. I knew what a writer was before that, of course, but until I read that play I never knew what a writer was capable of. I think it's safe to say that is the moment I became a playwright. I studied theater at the University of Kentucky where two of my plays were produced and met with varying degrees of indifference. Though my involvement in the theater dropped off considerably when I left UK, I never stopped writing and have published several books on the Amazon Kindle Store."
