Joe Murtagh is a London born Irish writer. He comes from a family of carpenters and labourers, though it's been said that Joe himself "couldn't hammer a nail straight", and after some site experience, he would wholeheartedly agree. So he's making a good go of writing. He is finishing his Masters in Screenwriting at the NFTS, where he wrote a Western called DEVIL'S RIVER, which is now being developed with BAFTA winning producer Diarmid Scrimshaw/Inflammable Films. He is currently adapting short story CALM WITH HORSES by Colin Barrett with DMC Film for Nick Rowland to direct and he is also writing a play.
