Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Forrest spent his early childhood in Wisconsin, but moved when he was six years old to Peterson, Minnesota, where he went to school and graduated in 1989.He attended college at Winona State University and graduated in 1994 with a double major in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing. He returned to Winona State in 1998 and received a degree in English Teaching.As of now, Forrest's plays have been performed in over 40 states in the U.S. and internationally as well in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
