Angela Ness, born 17 April 1967, was chosen for mentorship with Siege Perilous Theatre in Edinburgh (2012). Since then she has had two plays produced Recycling (Courtyard, London) 2013. Solstice (Assembly, Edinburgh) 2013. Solstice was written in collaboration with Glen Davies. Solstice was chosen by Playwrights Studio Scotland for development when in the early stages (2012). Her new play Tick Tock has been through the same process with Playwrights Studio. Angela was shortlisted for a New Playwrights Award in 2013 also with Playwrights Studio Scotland. 88 Theatre (Scotland) have paid for the rights to reproduce Solstice for the 2014 Scottish Community Drama Association. Angela has recently completed The PLaywights Toolkit course with Zinnie Harris (Traverse, Edinburgh). She is anout to embark on a new course at Edinburgh University.

Solstice

Synopsis:
Set in a lonely bothy in the far north of Scotland during the longest day. GEmma and Will have killed a man and need to get rid of his body. GEmma has a past she needs to come to terms with. Will might be able to help her but at a price.

Tick Tock

Synopsis:
Mharis dreams are full of babies. Time is ticking on and the dream is becoming a distant hope.
