Michael Neville is Artistic Director of Playwrights Studio Theater. His plays have been produced off-Broadway and in regional Theaters around America. His play "Ballymurphy" was produced at the Manhattan Theater Club and voted "Best Play of the Season" at ACT Seattle. His ten-minute plays produced by Playwrights Studio Theater include three about William Shakespeare and his company, "Saving Hamlet," "the Virgin Queen" and "Crocodile Love." Others include "Nick and CAndy," "the Last Will and Testament of Yankel MacTavish" and "Little Wolf and Fat Alice." His play "Lamps for My Family" was developed in Edward Albee's playwriting class in Houston and produced twice. He is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts, A new York State Creative Artists Fellowship in Playwriting, a Sam S Shubert Fellowship in Playwriting and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Playwriting. He is also a voice artist and performed over 20 voices while a regular on the radio show "Hotel Milwaukee."
