Far Side, The
based on the aftermath of the Stephen Lawrence murder. A "Community" trial, bringing together the mothers of a dead black teenager and his supposed killer, and a racist white boy found innocent in court. It is chaired by a town councillor, who has, let us say, overstepped the boundry of this already misconceived set-up.

Look To the Sky
Synopsis:
In an abandoned building a group of young people are forced to confront the very thing that scares them most. themselves. the mysterious and complicated culture of inner-city youth is exploded in this gripping new play, which breathes with a raw poetic language and a contemporary soundtrack. Part street vernacular, part theatrical tradition, at times harrowing and at others searingly true - this is a play about the world of the teenage mind. Novelist and writer Courttia Newland deploys an abstract, poetic narrative style to invigorate this physical and fast paced production.

Sweet Yam Kisses
Synopsis:
Portrayals of loving black adults are rare on the British stage. Media images dominated by the 'bling bling' culture of violence, discord and disrespect between heterosexual black couples are far more commonplace.
