Love Boy
Synopsis:
LeRoi has lost his mother. He is placed in a state care facility while his kinship placement is arranged. Here he meets Stevie, a troubled ward with not much to lose. Together, they are at the bottom and the only way up is down. Australian Aboriginal youth suicide rates are among the highest in the world. It is said that there is not enough hope to protect indigenous young people against ending their own lives. Love Boy is about finding that hope.
