Born and raised in New York City. He is a graduate of the William Esper Studios and is a proud long time member of the award winning LAByrinth Theatre Company (artistic directors Phillip Seymour Hoffman & John Ortiz). As an actor he has worked with LAByrinth Theatre Company, INTAR Theatre, Luna Stage, Public Theatre, and the Ridiculous theatrical Company (under the artistic direction of Everett Quinton). Stage work as actor includes "Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue", "Short Eyes", "365 Plays/365 Days", "Bent". Most recently completed a leading role in the independent feature film "the Children Of Hip-Hop" written and directed by antonio Dela Cruz. As a playwright his work has been presented by the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival (2005-2008), Repertorio Espanol (2006-2007), LAByrinth Theatre Company's Summer Intensive Workshops at both the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (2001-2003) & Bennington College (2005-2008), his play "Tours Of Duty" was co-winner for the best short play award at the 2005 Downtown Urban Theatre Festival. In 2006 he received the Brooklyn Arts Council's NYC Department of Cultural Affairs Award for his Theatre project "Voices From the Front. His play "Midnight Mass" was a third place winner for the 2006 Metlife Foundation Nuestra Voces National Playwrights Competition. His play "W.A.C. Iraq. . .A Work-In-Progress" had its' world premiere in Santa Ana, California and was produced and presented by the Breath Of Fire Latina Theatre Ensemble. As a teaching artist he has worked with many Arts in education organization bringing Theatre and the creative Arts to public schools through-out New York's inner cities

By the Dawns Early Light: Los Embrujados & Midnight Mass

Synopsis:
In "Los Embrujados", a nervous waiter at the Windows on the World restaurant studies with his gregarious brother for his impending U.S. Citizenship test. It's a time of possibilities on this bright, clear September morning, and as he prepares for this new life, "Los Embrujados" illuminates what it means to be an American. Midnight Mass follows a group of New Yorkers connected by 9/11: a war veteran whose trauma may cost him his family; his brother, who must leave his pregnant fiancee to go on his first tour of duty; a nurse who would have perished with her husband in the Towers, had her alarm clock gone off; and a fireman desperate to reclaim the courage he knew as a First Responder. In the wake of tragedy, "Midnight Mass" reveals the profound struggle to regain hope and faith.
