Synopsis:
looks at the conflicts of a diverse group of Latina women. the characters include: Migdalia, a Nuyorican who experiences prejudice from her own family; Jennifer, a Mexican American who discovers her Chicana rights; Alicia, a Columbian actress who struggles with what keeps her from landing Latina roles; Maria Elena, a Panamanian, who faces inequity from other Latinos; Soledad, a Dominican mother who finds the courage to leave her husband; and Louisa, a Cuban-Irish woman who defends her right to be Latina.
