Fast becoming leaders in interactive theatre making in the UK, the South East-based group explores ideas of audience responsibility and makes interactive performances that enable participants to have both shared and personal experiences. Their work activates people by exploring the relationships between them and using creative approaches to space and technology. The group makes work for theatres, gallery spaces, museums, with interactivity as a focus. Drawing together skills and backgrounds in theatre, dance, movement, live art, photography, multimedia and performance, the group work to create opportunities for their audiences to become authors of their own experience. Using live video, projection, hidden cameras, mp3 players, radio frequency headphones, live sound mixing and the internet, non zero one draw on a wide range of interests and expertise to make each show an immersive experience. The group's current work is concerned with how participants and performers - a distinction constantly in question in their work - can be enabled by various technologies in performance. It explores how relationships can be made and broken, how fights can be won and lost, and how experiences can be shared or made deeply personal.

Synopsis:
On the other side of the world someone stands alone on a beach...Where they are, it's cold, there's a breeze, the sea moves towards the shore and the sky is grey. They know where you are feels different, it looks different, but it's also the same. From there, they ask you to consider your surroundings, ask if you really believe in what you see in front of you. What are you really a part of? How much don't we know and how much do we want to know?
