To Have To Shoot Irishmen
Easter morning, 1916. Gunshots ring out in the Dublin streets. In her suburban sitting-room Hanna prepares for revolution. Frank walks through the crowds calling for peace, while John recalls the trenches and sees a city soaked in blood. Eighteen-year-old William fearfully reports to the barracks for duty, determined to serve the British army with honour. Inspired by true events, this absorbing play weaves movement and folk song into a stirring tale of militarism, corruption and the power of rebellion.

Unprotected
Unprotected explores the recent developments in Liverpool that surround the sex trade industry through a documentary-style theatrical piece. Esther Wilson, John Fay, Tony Green and Lizzie Nunnery embrace the diverse opinions from many of those involved in Liverpool's proposed legal zones for prostitutes. Based on over one thousand interviews with residents, sex workers, politicians, police and clients of the industry, this format allowed the writers the inside knowledge to create a dynamic and insightful Drama. Against this background, transcripts sent in to the writers allowed a compelling and brutally honest tale to unfold. Unprotected is an undeniably forceful play that captures the true essence of issues that surround the real lives of those involved in the very relevant sex trade debate, and its effects on the community as a whole.

You Can Take It With You
Synopsis:
the piece tells the story of border crossings, journeys rooted in the real world, in history, yet also traversing a psychological landscape. Three suitcases hold a beginning, a middle and an end, but through visual, musical and textual language, channelling multilingual voices, the story takes on another dimension, across time. the plurality of cultural identity, the evolving nature of language, the movement of people, the transmigration of religion and culture, back and forth: this journey across borders is tidal. Just as a suitcase opens to reveal a whole world, this process of uncovering, literal and metaphorical, is explored. It is a process of discovery for the audience, literally moving between the three scenes, taking a journey of their own. Each audience member will take a postcard away with them, a fragmentary multilingual document containing a hidden history.
