Carrie Louise Nutt's 10-minute play The Lamb was produced off-Broadway at 59E59 and The Blue Heron Theatre and was a finalist for the 2003 Heidemen Award. She wrote the book for Green, a short opera composed by Max Duykers, produced at La Mama. Her ten-minute plays Wrong Number and Kid Sister were produced in Manhattan Theatre Source's Estrogenius Festival. Two monologues from her full-length play Dust will be published in the 2007 Applause Books: Monologues for Men. She has interned at Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Empty Space and New Dramatists. Carrie is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America, The Playwrights Center and a grad student at Rutgers University studying play- and screenwriting with Lee Blessing.

Cave, The
Synopsis:
Growing up in the 'burbs is tough, especially when you rob a delivery truck filled with beer in a get-rich scheme to get the hell out. With the police on their tail, Howie and Ronnie must figure out how to sell the beer to make the money necessary to get Howie out of town, and fast. Violet and Diana help the guys out, but Diana feels increasingly uneasy about the boys stashing their beer at her secret hideout. As the four friends come together to help Howie escape the 'burbs, they find that the pressures are too much and the help too little.

Dust
Synopsis:
Outside a storm batters her bedroom apartment, but inside it isn't any warmer. Frankie can't sleep, haunted by old memories and pursued by an ex-lover. She tries to start her life anew, only to find that the past catches up with her. Tough, resilient and dangerous, Frankie will fight to the end before she lets the thaw begin. Featuring a hitman, a bearded cowboy under the bed and a plain old dedicated lover, Dust is a wacky comedy with a serious underbelly.

Kid Sister
Synopsis:
Iris isn't very well liked at school. The other kids are mean to her and she hasn't developed physically like they have. She is eager to make her older sister Diana like her and help her fit in, so when she catches Diana in the bathroom puking her lunch out, Iris takes advantage of this opportunity to get closer.

Synopsis:
In a Christian fundamentalist home, young Reginald has come to roost. His mother has died and his estranged father has taken him in. It is his step-mother, however, Margaret, that finds herself drawn to the boy, determined to "save" him. Armed with her religion, Margaret dives in to do battle, only to discover the dark truth about her own unhappiness.

Touch
Synopsis:
Christy doesn't know which way the world turns or why. She is driven to excess questioning as she attempts to understand the nature of right and wrong. Her psyschotherapist, best friend, and her lover all fail her as she mines the question of sexual deviancy. She knows that she must reach a conclusion, but her options are more complex than the world around her believes them to be. Christy must make a committment to a difficult choice or drive herself beyond sanity.

Wrong Number
Synopsis:
One by one, her daughters are coming home from the war: the oldest, the middle and they wait for the youngest. Donna fixes them drinks and jokes with them and they all imagine how fun it will be to back together again. The phone keeps ringing, but Donna insists no one answer it. As time passes, the terrible truth of their homecoming begins to settle in and the phone keeps on ringing. Donna won't let them pick up the phone and hear the truth about Candy.
