Antoinette Nwandu is a Brooklyn-based playwright via Los Angeles. Current projects include PASS OVER, which she is developing as a 2013-14 Dramatist's Guild Fellow, and the book for an untitled musical theater collaboration with Adam Ben-David. Her play FLAT SAM, which won both the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's Lorraine Hansberry Playwriting Award and the Negro Ensemble Company's Douglas Turner Ward Prize, was last produced by Baltimore's Theatre Morgan as part of their 2013 season. Antoinette's work has been produced and developed by The Movement Theater Company, WordBRIDGE Playwrights Laboratory, Dreamscape Theatre, Fire This Time, First Look Theatre Company, Broken Glass, Generous Company and the Monarch Theater Company. She was a literary Fellow at the Eugene O'Neill Playwrights Conference, and regularly performs original pieces with the spoken-word ensemble Sister Scribes. She is a proud member of the Dramatist's Guild.
