Bridget O'Connor was born in North London on 18 Jan 1961, died 22 Sep 2010. She won the Time Out short story competition on which led to the publication of her first collection of short stories "Here Comes John", the second collection "Tell Her You Love Her" (both Jonathan Cape) was published shortly after. Bridget is a regular contributor to Radio 4 who have produced "Roses" a play about the Rose of Tralee competition and also Corinthians co written with Peter Straughn. Bridgets new play Flags has just finished a successful run at the Manchester Playhouse. Bridget and Peter are nominated for a screenplay at this year's Cannes film festival.

Synopsis:
News from the Seventh Floor is inspired by and made for Clements, Watford's 100-year old department store. An audience of 30 will be invited on a night-time journey through the store, a familiar world made strange and eerie, whilst encountering characters and stories scattered through time. News from the Seventh Floor combines elements of film noir, classic ghost story and is informed by extraordinary stories from generations of Clements staff and customers.
