We're Daisy Orton and Pablo Pakula, together we are Accidental Collective. With our roots in theatre and live art, we create innovative work that engages with people and places. Weve created performance pieces for studio theatres, historic and public buildings, and outdoor spaces. Weve made full-length shows, promenade pieces, immersive environments, one-to-one experiences, and celebratory events; treating each project on its own terms, weve taken site-specific, interactive/participatory or community-based approaches. We are drawn to notions of fragmentation, encounter, and multiplicity. Our work is generous, participatory and visually striking - it has a big heart and a strong mind.

Head Hand Head

Synopsis:
In the back seat of a car, an unassuming conversation takes dark and vicious root in the psyche of Laura Jane Dean. What we tell ourselves about the world - its simple probabilities and routine certainties, mortal dangers and not-so mortal dangers - melt away leaving Laura practicing head-hand-head coordination just to stay in the game. This lyrical story journeys between interior dystopia and cool normality, exploring the things we need to stay sane.

Heres Hoping

Synopsis:
Daisy and Pablo are tired of being cynical, and of all this darkness. They're sifting through Hallmark cliches, pipe dreams, song lyrics and political statements looking for a chink of light. . .Where does hope come from? Where can you get it, or get it back? They're not promising answers, but you never know, maybe something will happen if we are all in a room together. Here's hoping.
