Art Of Persuasion, The

Synopsis:
A senior government minister, Stephen is adept at crisis management, and when the Prime Minister is threatened from within his own party, action must be taken at any cost. In a world of political intrigue, blackmail and betrayal are accepted methods of ensuring survival and power. However when a journalist, Vanessa, becomes involved, it is clear that the press is a weapon to be both used and feared. Vanessa, Stephen and his protege Daniel quickly become entangled in a scandal of their own making.

Laughton

Synopsis:
California 1946. Scarborough born Charles Laughton is an internationally renowned movie star and one of the most famous people in America. Weary of the Hollywood merry-go-round, and his reputation for playing film monsters, he is determined to reinvigorate his stage career. Alongside his wife, Elsa Lanchester, (the original Bride of Frankenstein) he embarks on a life changing journey which will return him to his native North Yorkshire and enable him to do battle with his personal demons.
