King Of The Hill Is Down, The
Synopsis:
An assassination attempt is made on a Presidential candidate who has returned to his rural home town. The Law sets Out to discover who shot him. Unfortunately, both the sheriff and his deputy are suspects, as well as the victim's old girlfriend who is now the local TV "Weather Woman." The hospital waiting room set up by the police as a command post is invaded by a gun-toting young couple who appear to be intent on finishing the assassination. The mystery is solved in the end and the guilty party gets his punishment - and we all know a little more about the motives of assassins and the American heritage that encourages them.
